Twenty-two more in the workshop

The rest of the hex family.

Pinball, lightcycles, a 4X starmap, hex solitaire, a card game, a paint-by-numbers on the faction posters. They exist, they are playable, and they go up here one at a time as each one is ready for people who are not us. If you want to be one of the people who breaks them first, that is what the playtest list is for.

100% Designed by Humans

People make the games. Machines help us build them.

Every game on this page was designed by people: the rules, the worlds, the boards, the art. That is the line printed on the back of the Manager box, and we mean it.

Where we do use AI is engineering, and it is not vibe coding. We are engineers, with more than forty years of commercial software engineering for Fortune 10 companies behind us. AI tools help us write and test the code, build every game for phones, tablets and Macs, and run this website. We set the architecture, read what they write, and nothing ships until it passes our gates.

Large Language Murder is the one game with AI in it, on purpose and by name: a machine sits at the table and the game is catching it. Our games for kids have no AI in them at all.

Read our full AI ethics

The hex games collect nothing at all — no accounts, no ads, no analytics, nothing that leaves the device. That is documented in full, per package and per store, in our privacy policy for mobile games. Large Language Murder is the exception, and it is an opt-in one: it has no accounts either, but play it against a live AI and it sends what the table typed to a language model, and playing with people who are elsewhere passes through a relay we run. That is written out on its own privacy page. HSH's Porter is the other one: it collects nothing either, but it can be played with other people on your Wi-Fi or over the internet through a relay we run, so it has its own privacy page as well.
